Fire Emblem: Akatsuki no Megami takes place three years after the previous game, Souen no Kiseki. While Tellius is thought have enjoyed peace across all its nations, the truth isn't very clear. While Begnion takes control of the defeated nation of Dayne, the residents of Dayne begin to suffer from a lack of enforcement through the country.
