How to Get Deal Alerts in Discord

You can receive import game deal alerts directly in any Discord server you manage — no bot invite required. Discord webhooks let a website post messages to a specific channel on your behalf. Once you create one and paste the URL into your alert subscription, we'll post deal embeds there whenever your alert criteria are matched.

What You'll Need

  • A Discord server where you have Manage Webhooks permission (any server you own, or one where an admin has granted you that permission)
  • A free account on this site with alert preferences set

Step 1: Create a Webhook in Discord

  1. Open Discord and go to the server where you want deal alerts posted.
  2. Right-click the channel you want to use (or click the gear icon next to its name) and select Edit Channel.
  3. In the left sidebar, click Integrations.
  4. Click Webhooks, then New Webhook.
  5. Give it a name — something like "Import Game Deals" — and optionally set an avatar.
  6. Click Copy Webhook URL. This URL is what you'll paste into the alerts form.

Keep the URL private. Anyone with this URL can post messages to your channel. Don't share it publicly or commit it to a repository.

Step 2: Paste the URL Into Your Alert Subscription

  1. Go to the Alerts page on this site.
  2. Fill in your email and alert preferences as usual.
  3. In the Discord Webhook URL field, paste the URL you copied from Discord.
  4. Submit the form and confirm your email.

Once confirmed, deal alerts matching your preferences will be posted to your Discord channel as embedded messages — with the game title, price, discount percentage, cover image, and a direct link to the product page.

What the Alerts Look Like

Each alert posts up to 10 game embeds in a single message. Each embed shows:

  • Game title (links to the product page)
  • Current price and discount percentage
  • Cover image thumbnail

Troubleshooting

No messages are appearing in Discord

  • Double-check the webhook URL in your subscription. The URL must start with https://discord.com/api/webhooks/ — anything else is silently ignored.
  • Confirm your email subscription (check your inbox for a confirmation link).
  • Verify the webhook still exists: go to channel settings → Integrations → Webhooks. If it was deleted, create a new one and update your subscription by re-subscribing with the new URL.

I deleted the webhook by mistake

Create a new webhook in Discord (same steps as above) and re-subscribe with the new URL. Your email preferences are preserved if you use the same email address.

Can I add the webhook to someone else's server?

Only if you have Manage Webhooks permission in that server. Ask the server admin to create the webhook for you and share the URL privately, then paste it into your subscription.

I want alerts in multiple channels

Subscribe multiple times using different email addresses, each with a different webhook URL. Each subscription can have its own alert preferences and channel target.

Removing Discord Alerts

Discord alerts are tied to your subscription. To stop Discord alerts while keeping email alerts:

  1. Go to channel settings in Discord → Integrations → Webhooks.
  2. Delete the webhook.

Discord will return a failure response the next time we try to send, and the alert attempt will silently fail — your email alerts continue unaffected.

To stop all alerts, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any alert email.
